ADventures in fairyland

I created these fairy paintings as commissions for two local parents.  They are based on the work of Cicely Mary Barker and Raffaella Ligi.  These are the families favorite fairy artists!  I have never worked with this type of subject before and enjoyed expanding my fairy knowledge.

A series to celebrate parental love.  Each painting depicts a parent and baby animal.  Each also has small hearts “hidden” throughout the painting.  Each of these is also available as a print.

I started creating these for my parents as my children grew.  Each is created using the child’s actual handprints.  These paintings include two siblings each.  If requested, special messages or symbols are “hidden” or added in the painting.
